If you see a message that says the disk is about to fail, back it up immediately.
To boot in Recovery Mode, restart your Mac and hold down Command-R. If the disk you’re trying to repair is your start-up disk, you’ll need to boot into Recovery Mode and choose Disk Utility from macOS Utilities from the startup screen.
